PKRA Leucate: Pulido and Zoon Take Single and Double Elimination Titles

The sun was out this morning welcoming the howling 25-35+ knot wind. Riders prepared their smallest kites for what was a day of astounding kiteboarding action. The competition level this year is extremely high making it mandatory for all riders to perform at the best of their ability.

The 2011 Pismo Beach KiteXpo ended on a high note as the predicted wind showed up at the event site today. Despite a gloomy and windless morning, the wind filled in around 1 pm and riders were able to hit the water on 9-12m kites.

The forecasted winds never showed up today in Pismo Beach, but plenty of kiteboarders still made their way to the event site to check out the plethora of new 2011 kiteboaridng gear that was on the beach. Starting at 9 am, riders began to demo SUP boards in excellent SUP conditions.
