STRAPLESS SURF CLINICS
Looking to get into strapless riding or get going on your first strapless moves? Pro team riders and Central Coast rippers Matt Elsasser (Cabrinha), James Ropner (Best, Loyd) and Pike Harris (Blade Kites) will be conducting two clinics over the weekend to get you going with style.
To join the strapless clinic, you need to purchase 4 raffle tickets ($20, fundraiser for Kinsley ThomasWong, pay via paypal [email protected] or pay at event, pick up/pay at registration) and send an to event organizer, Marina Chang, [email protected] to confirm your participation. Please specify which day/clinic you would like in the subject title. Limited to 15 participants each clinic. Clinics will meet under the big star tent behind the registration trailer.
Saturday, April 11, 12p | BEGINNER CLINIC
This clinic will start out with a 15-25 minute beach clinic followed by 45 minutes of water time. The focus will be on the basics of strapless riding and jibing. Meet at the big star tent behind the registration trailer at 12p sharp. Water clinic dependent on wind conditions.
Sunday, April 11, 12p | FIRST TRICKS CLINIC
This clinic will start out with a 15-25 minute beach clinic followed by 45 minutes of water time. The focus will be on strapless airs and more advanced jibes. Meet at the big star tent behind the registration trailer at 12p sharp. Water clinic dependent on wind conditions.

Foil fever is spreading quickly. What is its appeal? How does it differ from riding with a twin tip or directional? What are some tips when first starting to foil? This is a beach clinic only as it is no fun to learn how to foil in the surf! Meet at the Liquid Force tent at 10:30a sharp.
HOW TO HELP AN INJURED KITER CLINICS
Got 20 minutes to spare? The way you respond to a kite accident could make a major difference in someone’s life. Kirk Talon, a retired veteran firefighter/EMT with the City of Davis, CA, has generously offered to conduct two 20-minute clinics which will cover how to approach an injured kiter and how to properly immobilize someone before Emergency personnel arrives so as to minimize further damage. www.onscenesafety.com.
