Introducing the next generation of the Airush Load Frame; the only kite on the market that doesn’t rely on its most fragile part for durability.

This season, Airush took a completely new approach to kite construction by introducing the Load Frame. While other companies rely on a thin layer of polyester material to carry the hundreds of kilograms of load that kites are routinely exposed to, this is the only kite construction on the market that does not rely solely on the canopy to support the primary loads,

The Airush Load Frame comprises of a unique web of Dyneema that supports the primary loading off the canopy. These multiple sections of low stretch, ultra light Dyneema yarns are each designed to be subjected to individual loads well beyond the canopy cloth. When compared to the first generation load frame, the strength-to-weight ratios for Dyneema are about 40% higher than for Aramid.

Not only does the Load Frame radically increase the durability, it also reduces the stretch (by as much as 30% in critical directions). In turn, this ensures that the canopy does not stretch excessively, which means the kite will perform perfectly for much longer.

When you combine this construction with the top athletes and developers in the world with head tester and 2013 World Champion Alex Pastor and legendary designer Mark Pattison, you know you will experience a new level of kite technology.
