The 2014 CrazyFly Cruiser LW features a lightweight all-wood core, ABS rails, asymmetrical fin position, carbon reinforcement and a flat bottom shape. The most unique feature of the Cruiser LW is the reverse template which cuts through the water cleanly and efficiently. The Cruiser LW earned high marks as a dedicated light wind twin tip. Testers commented on its excellent early planing, easy upwind ability and ease of use in choppy conditions. Testers liked the board’s load and pop for simple jumps and transitions, yet like many light wind boards, its length and design proves bulky for aggressive freestyle riding.
The Cruiser LW comes with Dura footpads and Quick Fix II footstraps which are simple and easy to install with a single Velcro adjustment for sizing the straps. Testers liked the plushness of the pads and the pronounced toe ridge for extra grip and overall found the pad/straps setup very comfortable.
