ABOUT DREAM EXTREME

Dream Extreme Founder, Linda Argila, has an incredibly inspiring story of overcoming challenges- from a year in prison, to success in philanthropy. Her love for the extreme sport of kiteboarding led her to create Dream Extreme– a manifestation of her motivational mission inspiring others to overcome challenges and live their dreams, while raising funds for victims of domestic violence.

Proceeds from Dream Extreme benefit STEPS of End Family Violence a nonprofit organization, improving the lives of New York City’s most vulnerable children and women since 1986. Their work is critical, focusing on educating families and communities about violence prevention, promoting healing among victims, and advocating toward an enhanced community understanding domestic violence. Every day New York City shelters provide emergency housing for 1,000 people escaping domestic violence. More than 60% are children. STEPS touches the lives of over 5,000 New Yorkers each year.
