La Ventana 2012: Scenes from Burning Bush
Last night was Burning Bush, an annual party held here in La Ventana. As usual, it was quite a sight to be seen. In keeping with apocalyptic predictions from the Mayan calendar, this year’s theme was The End of Bush.
This year Burning Bush was held on the beach about a 15 minute walk from the La Ventana Classic and KiteXpo event site. Burning Bush is a smaller Baja version of Burning Man and is organized by kiteboarder Bruce Sheldon and a crew of hard working pyromaniacs.
