Triple-S Thursday saw a full day of SURF action down on the southside at Ramp 55/Hatteras Ferry Docks. Kites were flying at 1pm with 12m and then 9m being the call. Cape Hatteras provided the same goods that got it ranked #5 beach in the US this year, with warm Atlantic Ocean water, nice waves and beautiful white sand beaches. No wetsuits and lots of water to keep hydrated was the call for the day!

The level of kitesurf riding has once again taken a quantum leap forward, especially given the average surf conditions we experienced, which can be found on nearly any beach in the world. All the Triple-S riders, guys and girls, were throwing down great waverides, strapless airs and technical transitions. It was definitely a FUN day at the beach!

Mojo Collins and his 5-piece band ROCKED the Kona Sunset Party Thursday Night, followed by the Sunset Swim Charity Runway Event, benefitting Athletes for Cancer and the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. Event supporters were treated to a world-class swimsuit fashion show featuring bikinis from Hurley, Volcom, Billabong as well as custom swimsuits from Sunset Swim organizer Sensi Graves. UK-MC’s Pete Hardie and Toby Diggens kept the crowd thoroughly entertained throughout the Sunset Swim event, then Mojo returned to the stage to blow up the remainder of the evening!

Friday’s schedule looks like SLICKS in the AM then SLICKS and SLIDERS in the PM, followed by the Awards Ceremony and Dinner with Dub Island Sound System!!!!
