Shaping boards for watermen and women for over 30 years, Jimmy Lewis started out as one of the big wave surf shapers in the 1970’s. In the 80’s Jimmy created record breaking windsurf boards and was famous for his high speed designs. In the past 10 years, Jimmy met Lou Wainman and developed the world’s first twin tip kiteboard known as the Picklefork. Today, the JL line includes production and custom kite, wind, surf and SUP boards for water enthusiasts worldwide.
Never one to mince words, Jimmy will be joining host Ryan Riccitelli on this week’s The Kiteboarder Magazine and ASNews.net. What makes a good surf or twin tip board? What improvements can be made to current technology and designs? Will Jimmy be getting into custom raceboard designs for kiting? Do you want the old JL ads back?
