This week, our special guest on the ASNews.net and The Kiteboarder Magazine podcast is Felix Pivec. Well-respected as one of the top kiters in the surf in the world, Felix recently left Airush after many years with the company and joined Eclipse Kiteboarding.

What motivated Felix to make the move? Is he only team rider or will he also be heavily involved in the company’s R&D? Need some strapless riding tips?

This week’s show will be prerecorded but we can ask any questions you might have. Please post them here before 5p PST on Thursday, March 19 and we’ll ask Felix for you! The interview will then be available for download at www.asnews.net, www.thekiteboarder.com and www.kiteforum.com

PODCAST UPDATES:

We have been having some scheduling issues and have been upgrading all our computer and recording system over the last month. All issues have now been resolved and we have scheduled the following to also take place this week. We apologize but are now back on track!

Jeff Tobias VIDEOCAST on the launch of Vari Kites: Wednesday, 6p PST at  http://www.fubar.com/lounge/50075

Mauricio Abreu from Liquid Force on new travel spots discovered in Micronesia and the Marshall Islands. Also, Mauricio will be talking a bit about how it is to work with shaper Pat Rawson and what developments occurred when working with Jimmy Redmon to develop his signature twin tip board line.

Peter Stiewe, Best Kiteboarding’s Kite Designer, has been busy testing new gear in South Africa. Unfortunately his connection sucks anytime after noon. We have been trying to get this show completed but will only post it when we have good sound quality. We may have to wait until 4/15 when Peter travels to a new country with a better connection but we are trying to make it happen this Friday!

Next week: Get the latest on what’s happening with the SPI Round Up in South Padre Island, Texas, May 1 through the 10.
