Just six months ago, pro-rider Dimitri Maramenidis took many of us by surprise and launched Eclipse Kiteboarding. Together with his partner Chris Cousins, the two have been busy setting up their network and getting Eclipse kites into the hands of dealers and riders throughout the world.This week, ASnews catches up with the two entrepeneurs to find out more about the company, its R&D process, upcoming events including the John Wayne Cancer Foundation Downwinder, Greek Trips, Demo days including their participation in the upcoming KiteXpo free demo event in Pismo Beach, CA, May 19 and 20, the 2007 product line, and what’s coming down the road for 2008.
