Windsurfers, Kiters and the Port of Hood River Coordinate for Shared Access
In light of the enlarged sandbar and expected congestion at the Event Site, this year, representatives from various key groups have worked out a viable solution for shared access along the Hood River Waterfront. Though the new real-estate is property of the Department of State Lands (Oregon), a local push to work out a system of self-policing is favored within the community.
